A.S.M.E. Weld Preparation and Procedure

The photo on the right shows a job completed in compliance to our A.S.M.E. certification. In this example of an A.S.M.E procedure, the chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate was heated to 300 degrees Fahrenheit before the weld was applied. Next, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Examinations will be completed on all welds before being stress relieved. Finally, the unit will be Hydrostatic tested at 300lbs pressure.
