ASME Coded Pressure Vessels

Our company has established itself in the metalworking industry as a manufacturer of ASME coded pressure vessels.  The ASME code controls pressure vessel design and construction, materials, personnel training and qualifications, inspection and documentation.  We have delivered ASME pressure vessels worldwide, primarily as production equipment in the oil and gas industry. 

But we go beyond this high standard and are able to provide you with:

Non-Coded Pressure Tanks

We are able to fabricate non-coded tanks for those customers who do not need an ASME stamp.  While these tanks are built to ASME standards by the same highly trained team, the cost can be lower because of less paperwork and inspection.  Because we have experience with both types of vessel, we can help you decide which type of tank will work for your project.  Whether it’s a storage tank, bin, hopper, silo or another type of tank, we will build it meeting your specifications, time line and budget.

Boilers

The Matheson boiler is regarded as the “workhorse” of the industry.  We use Scotch Marine construction, and have significant experience with both wetback and dryback designs.  We are experienced with retrofitting boiler installations and can build, deliver and install your boiler while your plant is on turnaround, saving you precious down time.

Custom Fabrication

Through Glasgow Metals Limited, a division of I. Matheson,  we specialize in fabrication and on-site erection, assembly and installation of structural or miscellaneous metals. As a member of the Canadian Welding Bureau, Glasgow Metals shares the same core commitment to manufacturing excellence and customer service as I. Matheson.  Our quality workmanship is a direct result of the efforts of our highly skilled and experienced workforce.  We are able to produce a wide range of specialty steel products including stairs and railings, heavy machinery parts and material storage and handling systems.
